OUR STORY
On 9th July 2002, in the town Kulai, Johor, there was born a pharmacy named AM PM Pharmacy. It was founded by Phr. Ng Kee Wei, a pharmacist turned ‘healthpreneur’ with a downright yet sincere philosophy : Happy To Make You Feel Better!
Started with a humble entity of just 2 employees, AM PM Pharmacy had remained as a single retail operation for 8 years before launching its second branch in Taman Daya, Johor Bahru. To date, AM PM Pharmacy has grown to more than 300 employees with more than 40 outlets and is still growing, looking to expand its presence in larger communities in the state of Johor and beyond.
AM PM Pharmacy prides on friendly and informative customer services as well as conducive environment that meet customer’s needs. This is achieved by making customers to feel welcomed, comfortable and cared for as their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism.
AM PM Pharmacy’s ultimate goal is striving to become the most preferred pharmacy choice for customer in every local community. A trusted pharmacy that makes health and happiness simpler, easier and within reach for all.

WORDS FROM CEO
Healthcare industry has changed “revolutionarily” over the course of past 40 years. Pharmacists, pharmacies, and pharmaceuticals are three important elements that witnessed profound and dynamic changes under such revolution. From dispensing and compounding drugs, now it has developed into patient-centered and outcomes-oriented practice of field.
When we opened our first retail of AM PM Pharmacy in Kulai, I was very excited to apply this transformation into bringing welfare to the world. We want to create a significant improvement in our communities by helping them to fully access to their health potential. We strongly believe such access will contribute to greater life accomplishments in education, employment, family and personal well being.
To achieve that, I know we have to carefully position our vision and values in order to set the right direction for us. And that is why we preserve to our vision and values, despite our changes in business approaches. From day 1 to today, we stay true to our value based service concept.
We envision to be the most preferred pharmacy chain by the public, not only for our quality products, attractive brands or convenient price ranges, but also for how we act in a caring way in relation to the world around us. We put this belief into action with initiative and we fabricate each initiatives with 8 core values, known as our ‘i-Core Values’. This ‘i-Core Values’ are the cornerstones of who we are, what we stand for and what we do.
With such vision and values, we are driven by the purpose to add value for every person who comes through our door and elevate the communities we touch. Today, 17 years later after our 1st retail, I see with excitement again how our platform are utilized to touch the lives of millions.
Myself, Phr. Ng Kee Wei, am tremendously privileged to serve this community, and I’m thankful for each of you who rekindle our inner spirit to serve you.
